Pure Thought and the Law of Attraction
According to the writings of Abraham-Hicks, it is as easy to create a castle as it is a button. The secret is in becoming a vibrational match to the object of your desire. The more intense your positive feelings, the faster it will come to you. This seems simple enough. So where is your Ferrari?
I believe one key insight to this question can be found scattered throughout a wide range of inspirational writings, from the Bhagavad-Gita to Abraham Maslow and Dr. Wayne Dyer to name just a few.
Focus on your desire(s) but have no attachment to the outcome
Without following this vital principle, you are polluting the end result. Any conflicting feelings (in this case, “attachment”) will likely be catastrophic to your ability to manifest.
In my own life, I’ve actually experienced this. Things come so much easier now than they did 10 years ago. Yes, part of this can be attributed to general life lessons learned during this span. Many years of practicing self development and having the familiarity with what works for me. Still, I see another power at work. Let me give one example related to financial abundance…
I lead a very comfortable and prosperous life. I enjoy my work, my family and have numerous interests. When I turn my attention to a goal or desire, there is not the “urgency” that I felt in my youth to make things happen. I can disconnect from the result and give the intentions power. On the other hand, it was far more difficult to be “detached from outcome” when I was wondering where my next house payment was coming from.
We’ve all heard the sayings, “the rich get richer” or “the first million was the hardest”. Besides the obvious investment advantages gained, could this be another illustration of ”staying detached” coming into play? In this case, you do not even need to be aware that this is a factor to take advantage of the law of attraction!
I’ve shared my encounter with pure thought and the law of attraction in this post. You can see how Abraham-Hicks discusses it here at their site, in a broader context. I also enjoyed this supplied journal entry for the idea that 34 seconds of pure thought done properly is worth 20,000 action hours! For those already familiar with my previous writings, in which I state that taking action is a key to success with the law of attraction, you may find it particularly amusing. If after reading it, 35 seconds later you still have a need to come back to ClearDeep, here is a point to ponder for the day:
When your thought is in sync with that which comes forth from within, doors will open — and everything that is action-oriented will be smooth-flowing and easy for you. (Abraham-Hicks)
