Releasing Negative Energy
You probably recognize the benefit of practicing Positive Thinking by now. Perhaps you are familiar with the Law of Attraction concept that your life experiences will match your current vibration. Still, with each new day it seems like the world is ready to retest your faith. Will it always be this hard? In my own experience, I’ve found that with practice it grows easier but it never stops requiring effort.
I recently took my two small children to an amusement park. In general, I dislike having to deal with the crowds, parking, waiting in line etc…Ten years ago this would have been a disaster. I would have created a “theme” of negative energy around the event. In turn, creating an abundance of bad experiences.
Today, I redirect my focus on maintaining a more positive vibrational pattern.
Continuing with the amusement park example, I now recognize the many things to be joyous and grateful about:
Watching my one year old son experience all this new excitement for the first time.
Sharing a day with my oldest son that we can both cherish forever.
Actually being blessed to have a wonderful family to make this trip even possible.
The list goes on and on…
Equally important (and I really think this is the key to making the process easier), I’m better prepared to deal with the inevitable “downers” that will occur.
Did I encounter any rude people at the park? Of course I did! There are always individuals ready and willing to drag you under. However, I’m certain that I noticed far fewer of these people than I would have in a different state of mind. I also did not draw them to me in droves via “like attracts like“.
There was a time in my life, when I believed that the best method to stay positive was by pretending things didn’t bother me. I eventually found this exercise to be lacking. I now just accept the small annoyances for what they are and then release them into the ether.
There is far too much energy to be wasted by:
Trying to convince myself certain things do not disturb me.
Allowing thoughts to bother me for too long a period.
Having a confrontation in which I try to persuade someone to change their behavior.
Taken in this context, I actually use these moments as opportunities to prosper. There is a surge of well-being when you consciously succeed at quickly releasing this negative energy. Especially when you are aware of the spell they previously held over you.
Point to ponder:
Source Energy is very fast-moving Energy, and manifestation is much faster in these days than it has ever been before. And it is time for you to reclaim your power by paying attention to whatever you are doing that is causing you to divert your power or to resist your power.
